Course Coaching / Grade Improvement

What it does...

Designed to improve a student’s performance in a particular class, this option works in conjunction with your current classroom curriculum. I have experience with the high school English curriculum,  and I can also assist with Humanities coursework. This is a focused intervention designed to raise performance in a specific class. It may require communication with the classroom teacher.

Timing

Typically running the length of a high school quarterly or semester marking period, we meet weekly to make sure you are staying on track and current with your coursework.

Structure

Planning Meeting – We begin by sitting down and discussing current challenges, reviewing the course syllabus, and identifying key dates. We establish objectives and determine what success will look like for you.

Pre -Tutoring Communication – Typically done via text or email, we identify a specific assessment or objective from your current course to discuss. These might be smaller day-to-day assignments, or we can work toward the completion of a long-term essay or project.

Tutoring Session – We spend the session working on the objectives outlined in our previous communication.

Pricing

$65.00 for an individual 60-minute session

$500.00 to schedule a 10-session program
